AM312 Pyroelectric Infrared Radial Sensor (PIR)

The AM312 Pyroelectric Infrared Radial Sensor (PIR) is an ultra-miniature sensor module that utilises a pyroelectric sensor, much like the SR501. However, the AM312's compact form factor sets it apart. The sensor is also ultra-low power, consuming a quiescent current of just 8uA, making it ideal for battery applications where extended battery life is crucial. The AM312 operates within a supply voltage range of 3 to 12V and has a sensor angle of 100 degrees and a sensor range of approximately 3 meters.
