The Nest integration with Home Assistant is back (kind of)
A few days ago the Smart Device Management (SDM) API was unveiled, giving hope to anyone wanting to integrate their Nest devices with Home Assistant.

The Google Nest Thermostat is a more affordable version of the Nest Learning Thermostat. It has a similar design and features, but with a few differences. One of the main differences is the appearance, Nest Thermostat has a more minimalist design, and it's made of polycarbonate instead of stainless steel. Another difference is that Nest Thermostat is designed to work with fewer types of HVAC systems, so it may not be compatible with your current system.
