Aqara

The brand Aqara was founded in 2016 by Lumi United Technology Co., Ltd. The company has close ties to Xiaomi, as it has been a member of Xiaomi's smart home ecosystem since 2015. Aqara's sensors, controllers, and lights use the Zigbee protocol, making it possible for them to be battery-powered.
