MAX31865 RTD-to-Digital Converter

The MAX31865 RTD-to-Digital Converter is an innovative device designed to work with any 2, 3 or 4 wire PT100 RTD, a Platinum Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) that utilises a small strip of Platinum with a resistance of 100 ohms at 0 °C. The converter allows for precision temperature sensing by automatically adjusting and compensating for the resistance of the connecting wires. Compared to most NTC/PTC thermistors, the PT type of RTD is more stable and precise, making it ideal for temperature measurement in laboratory and industrial processes.
