Rohm BH1750 (Ambient Light Sensor)

The Rohm BH1750 is an ambient light sensor that provides 16-bit light measurements in lux, which is the standard SI unit for measuring light. This feature allows it to easily compare against other values, such as references and measurements from other sensors. The BH1750 can measure a wide range of light intensities, from 0 to over 65,000 lux. Additionally, the sensor is equipped with an integrated voltage regulator and level shifting circuitry, making it compatible with 3.3V and 5V devices.
