The Sensirion SHTC3 is a cutting-edge digital humidity and temperature sensor designed with an emphasis on applications that run on battery power and high-volume consumer electronics. This sensor is developed to break through conventional limitations in size and power consumption, thus meeting current and future requirements while maintaining an unrivalled performance-price ratio. Leveraging Sensirion’s CMOSens® Technology, the SHTC3 comprises a complete sensor system on a single chip, which includes a capacitive humidity sensor, a bandgap temperature sensor, signal processing capabilities, A/D converter, calibration data memory, and a digital communication interface supporting I2C fast mode. The sensor's measurement range spans from 0 to 100% RH for humidity and -40°C to 125°C for temperature, with a typical accuracy of ±2% RH and ±0.2°C.
