Home Assistant Core 2022.6 introduces 100 new Material Design Icons

The upcoming release of Home Assistant Core 2022.6 will not only focus on improving the backend of the popular home automation software, but also bring new enhancements to the frontend. One of the most notable improvers is the addition of 100 new Material Design Icons, which offer greater customization options for users. Among them, you might find icons that depict the state of a light in 10% increments, providing more visual representation. This addition will help users to quickly understand the state of their devices and make the overall experience more user-friendly.

Other smart home related icons include meters, both electric and gas, horizontal blinds, a fan with a timer, a heat pump, roller shades in various states, and a new solar panel variant. The new icons included with Material Design Icons version 6.7.96 are shown below and can be copied from the official Material Design Icons website.
